Goodbye - When I began publishing Tips for Greener Living a short 15 weeks ago, I thought it might be possible to run an ezine such as this on the income provided by the ads served by Amazon and Google alone. I was wrong. If the approach had worked, it would have freed me from having to charge a fee for subscriptions, selling "premium" versions of the free edition, hawking compilations, and just plain begging for money from supportive readers. These are all tactics that have served ezine publishers well over the years (including yours truly), and I see nothing wrong with any of them. I just didn't want to do any of those things in the case of Tips for Greener Living. It is now clear that trying to publish an ezine without resorting to any of these revenue generating strategies is impractical, so I have decided to fold up the tent and call it quits. Thank you for subscribing, and please continue to treat our planet with the love and respect it so richly deserves.

Did You Miss A Tip? No problem. I update this page every day, Sunday through Thursday, at about 6 PM (Eastern time) with the tip for the following day, so depending on when you visit, you may be seeing tomorrow's tip. Every daily tip will be archived in one of the categories to the left (more categories will be added as needed), so look in the email message of the tip you missed to see which category it belongs in.
